Rampila is new for 2010 and an interesting concept restaurant that is build in to the bastions in Valletta. The restrictions of
the space available have made the design a very interesting mixing the very old with the very new.
The food concept is Maltese and includes a full Mediterranean selection.
There is a cosy wine bar area, a wonderful restaurant in the stone vault and an amazing terrace at the rear which brigs some real calm to the hustle and bustle of the Valletta City gate area.
Ask to see the “surprise area in the back”. I will say no more...
Chef Gatt is fresh over from success in Australia and looking to bring his flare to this new venue.
For something new is an “old” environment give it a try.
