The Taj Mahal is a very established Indian restaurant that has been part of Maltese life for over 30 years. The restaurant was opened in 1978 and has been going strong ever since.
The restaurant
had a make over a few months ago and has a nice bright feel to it. It is possible to eat outside with only a few tables its best to make a reservation. The space inside is well organised and the restaurant can cater for groups and events.
The Menu at Taj Mahal is truly comprehensive and there is a vast choice, If you need help in making your choices ask for Tapan the manager who will be happy to make suggestions and explain how the dishes are prepared. Leave room for the home made Indian desserts that include our favourite Gulab Jamun, a wonderfully syrupy doughnut, or Indian Ice Cream (Kulfi)
